On August 31, the 2022 OPPO Developer Conference (ODC22) successfully concluded under the theme "Inspire Your Mind, Go Hand in Hand." During the Smart Mobility Forum, OPPO unveiled new breakthroughs in the mobility sector alongside industry partners. Collaborating with SAIC Motor, they announced the pioneering results of their "Eco-domain" project, exploring cross-platform integration solutions to empower the entire mobility supply chain and build an open, interconnected ecosystem.

Zhilong Xiong, Product Director at YFtech, was invited to attend and delivered a keynote speech titled "Empowering Intelligent Vehicle Connectivity, Embracing a New Era of Intelligent Mobility." These enable smart and convenient travel services like exterior recognition entry, personalized cabin settings, and continuous natural dialogue between human and vehicle, reducing distractions from traditional interaction methods like buttons. Moreover, when cars can quickly and stably connect to the extensive online services and content of mobile phones, travel becomes more enjoyable. This coordinated interaction makes the vehicle a true companion.

Safety is the primary concern in travel. Xiong stated that with AI support, smart vehicle connectivity is playing an increasingly vital role in travel safety. For instance, in fatigue driving monitoring, it offers a new strategy by using in-car cameras to monitor the driver's condition in real-time. When fatigue is detected, the system can automatically call the emergency contact set on the phone and start a conversation mode to keep the driver alert. This smart solution allows for remote monitoring of in-car conditions, acting like an all-seeing eye. For potential risks such as children or pets left in the car, the phone can receive timely alerts, preventing irreversible damage caused by human error.

Digital Keys Open New Possibilities for Intelligent Travel


Digital keys are another popular application brought by intelligent vehicle connectivity. Xiong emphasized that a digital key must be safe and convenient as a basic standard.
